What a mighty fine looking vehicle you have there. That long bluff in your first picture reminds me of off-roading and camping near Escalante, UT last year.
Driving the OBXT in the destert is amazing; on the one hand you have all the ground clearance you’d ever need for rutted dirt roads, and on the other hand you can try out some high-speed cruising while on the super straight, empty highways.
On a completely unrelated note, and coming from experience -um... a friend; make sure to first check the speed rating on your tires before you go finding out your car’s top speed is 13mph over the rating for your tires marked ‘T’. The OBXT needs a ‘V’ rating or higher to safely realize it’s true potential.
Have so felt the desire for a roof box yet? The outback has great cargo capacity to start, but once a 70lb dog and cooler get added to the situation it gets a bit too full for mine and my girlfriends gear. The one pictured with my car was scored free off CL, and although it’s potentially older than my car by 20 years, they match pretty well with each other.
And always rember -a clean outback is an under-loved outback. Just yesterday I gave my gal a dust bath, and it looks like she couldn’t be happier.

Might have time for lunch. Couldn't stay at Bonneville because of filming. Do you know any good campsites near 80 going east? Currently looking at Skull Valley off road campground, but know nothing about it.
